Small-scale, marginal farmers feed the majority of our country, yet they are often the most vulnerable to poverty, malnutrition, and abuse. Increased globalization, more regulations on cash crops, and little access to credit or market linkages have limited opportunities for agricultural workers. Ensuring the stability of these farmers means sustainable development for India as a whole. With this vision, Mrida began working on creating holistic development—economic, ecological, social, and more—in rural villages.

Earthspired was created to provide more opportunities to small and marginal farmers with better markets, heartier crops, and advanced cultivation techniques. We are proud to work with farmers in Uttarkashi, Almora, and the Eastern Uttar Pradesh belt. ​
